Sludge Silos

Ekomvo s.r.o. is a direct manufacturer and supplier of sludge silos for wastewater treatment plants. Sludge silos are devices designed for the storage and transport of sewage sludge. Generally, the structure of the silo is determined by an accumulation space of the required size (e.g., 80 m³, 100 m³, or other useful volumes), a system of feeding and discharge screw conveyors for sludge transport, and an automatic control system for silo operation, including, for example, radar level measurement of sludge in the silo and reporting of operational statuses to the wastewater treatment plant dispatch.

The delivery of a sludge silo is typically realized as a complete technological unit, including electrical power supply and control, heating and thermal insulation, electrical discharge gates, access and inspection openings.

Access to inspection openings, conveyors, and their drives is enabled by a system of platforms, walkways, and ladders.

Description of system operation control

The equipment operates in fully automated mode unless otherwise explicitly specified by the client.

Operation and possible operational faults of individual devices and their components are signaled by lights on electrical control panels, and all faults, including silo overfilling, are signaled acoustically. All these operational statuses are usually transmitted to the central control system. All installed equipment is standardly equipped with a switch for manual and automatic operation. Manual startup of the equipment is possible from the control panel or locally via lockable starters placed in close proximity to the individual drives.
